Cronulla Over the last few years Cronulla has had substantial development with new medium rise apartments, cafés, new Cinemas and the re development of the Cronulla Hotel. Cronulla is an extremely popular tourism area and caters for all types of people and is one of the few beach suburbs serviced by rail. Cronulla has several beaches South Cronulla, North Cronulla, Wanda and Elouera. These are all ideal for swimming and surfing. Between South Cronulla and North Cronulla you can also find several rock pools. The Esplanade walk goes along the coastline from Cronulla Beach to Bass and Flinders Point where The Port Hacking River starts. If you continue to walk this leads you into Darook Park, which is at the beginning of Gunnamatta Bay. The homes in this area are large and exclusive, Cronulla is a very desirable suburb to live due to the conveniences it offers.
